People use “Ziyarat” for both of these, and it causes a lot of confusion at the enquiry stage. They are not the same thing.

What is the difference between the two kinds of Ziyarat on this page?
One is part of your Umrah: 18 sites in Makkah and 15 in Madinah, included in every Umrah package, with eight more beyond Madinah available by choice. The other is a separate journey altogether — a group tour to Masjid al-Aqsa, Bayt al-Maqdis, Jordan and beyond, with its own dates and its own price.
How many Ziyarat are included with an Umrah package?
18 sites in Makkah and 15 in Madinah are part of every package, with 8 more beyond Madinah available by choice. We name all 41 before you book, so you know exactly where you are going.
Is the coach for the optional Ziyarat included?
No. The eight optional sites beyond Madinah — Maidan-e-Badr, Bir-e-Rauha and the rest — are taken by choice and the coach fare for them is paid separately. Everything else in the Ziyarat programme is part of the package.
How many people are needed for an international Ziyarat tour?
A minimum of 22 members is required to run a group. If you are a smaller party, message the office — we may be able to place you with another group.
When do the international Ziyarat tours leave?
Three trips every month, on the 10th, 15th and 25th, departing from Delhi and Mumbai international airports.
Is a visa included on the Ziyarat tours?
Visa assistance is available for the Ziyarat tours. The countries on these itineraries each have their own requirements, so the office will tell you exactly what applies to your group and your passport.
