Ziyarat of Masjid al-Aqsa: Our Tours to Bayt al-Maqdis

When people in Rajasthan say “Ziyarat” they usually mean the sites around Makkah and Madinah that come with an Umrah package. But the office runs a second kind of journey entirely, and it is worth separating the two clearly.

These are group tours to Masjid al-Aqsa and Bayt al-Maqdis — Qibla-e-Awwal, the first direction of prayer — with routes that continue into Jordan, Egypt, Syria or Iraq depending on the itinerary.

The four itineraries

1. 8 days — ₹1,50,000 per person. Al-Aqsa, Bayt al-Maqdis and Jordan: Masjid al-Aqsa, Bayt al-Maqdis, Jordan (Amman).
2. 18 days — ₹2,25,000 per person. Al-Aqsa, Jordan and Iraq: Masjid al-Aqsa, Jordan (Amman), Iraq — Karbala, Baghdad, Najaf.
3. 14 days — ₹2,25,000 per person. Al-Aqsa, Jordan, Egypt and Syria: Bayt al-Maqdis, Masjid al-Aqsa, Jordan (Amman), Egypt (Cairo), Syria (Damascus).
4. 20 days — ₹2,35,000 per person. Al-Aqsa and Jordan with Umrah: Masjid al-Aqsa, Bayt al-Maqdis, Jordan (Amman), Umrah — Makkah & Madinah.

The fourth is the one families ask about most, because it puts Umrah and Al-Aqsa into a single journey rather than two separate trips.

How the groups run

• Minimum 22 members to run a group. If your party is smaller, say so anyway — the office may be able to place you with another group.
• Three departures a month, on the 10th, 15th and 25th.
• From Delhi and Mumbai international airports.
• Visa assistance is available. Each country on these routes has its own requirements, so the office works through them with your group rather than handing you a form.

The season tour

Alongside the four above there is a single 16-day itinerary running every month through the 2027–2028 season, at ₹2,45,000 per person: Jerusalem, Jordan including Petra, Cairo and the Pyramids, and Damascus with the Umayyad Mosque.

A word about planning

These journeys cross more borders than an Umrah trip does, and the paperwork takes longer. Start the conversation earlier than you think you need to — particularly if you are putting a group of 22 together yourself from a single family or mohalla.
