What you provide
- Passport. Valid for at least six months beyond your travel date. Check this first — renewals take time and it is the commonest reason a booking has to be moved.
- Recent passport-size photographs, to the specification the office gives you.
- The booking form we send you, filled in with the names exactly as they appear on the passports.
- Vaccination certificate. Saudi Arabia requires a meningococcal (ACWY) certificate of pilgrims.
What the office does
- The Umrah visa. Applied for and processed by us. You never deal with the consulate. It is included in all three packages, and available on its own for ₹15,000 per person if you have your own flights and accommodation.
- Flights from Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Lucknow or Ahmedabad, booked for the whole group together.
- Hotels in Makkah and Madinah, confirmed with your itinerary before you travel.
- Travel insurance for the journey.
Names must match, exactly
The name on the ticket, the visa and the passport must be identical — the same spelling, the same order, the same initials. This causes more trouble than anything else on the paperwork side, and it is easily avoided by sending a clear photograph of the passport page rather than typing the name out.
Before you book leave
Wait for the office to confirm your group in writing. Departure dates are fixed well ahead but seats on a particular group are limited, and it is better to hold your leave application for a few days than to have it approved for the wrong week.
If you are booking for someone else
Many bookings are made by a son or daughter for parents in Rajasthan. Send the names, ages and departure city, and tell us plainly if anyone will need help walking, uses a wheelchair for distances, or takes medication on a schedule. It changes how the group is arranged around them, and it is a normal thing to say.
